High West announces Casa Noble tequila finished rye whiskey

High West is proud to announce the launch of its innovation – The Noble Share.

High West is proud to announce the launch of its latest whiskey innovation – The Noble Share.

The Noble Share ($174.99) – a whiskey made in collaboration with Casa Noble tequila released just in time for the holiday season.

Available in limited quantities nationwide as of December 8th , this unique and limited edition expression leverages 4- to 10-year-old rye whiskeys and finishes them in Marques de Casa Noble añejo tequila barrels for 6 months. A portion of the blend is finished in Amburana barrels at a char of 3 or medium toast treatments for a small period to elevate the whiskey even further. This whiskey blends the heritage of High West Whiskey with the 7-generation legacy and craftsmanship of Casa Noble to create an exceptional bottle of whiskey that tastes and feels unlike any other. It is the first-ever collaboration between Casa Noble and High West.

The use of the Marques Añejo barrels imparts a beautiful subtle agave and lemongrass note with a hint of vanilla at the end. This is then complemented by the botanical character and spice from the base rye layers of the spirit blend and the use of the Amburana barrels enhances the blend’s complexity with a slight nuance of cinnamon.

“High West is honored to blend its rich whiskey traditions with Casa Noble’s storied heritage. While the Casa Noble Marques Añejo barrels are at the heart of this expression, a portion of the blend has also been finished in Amburana barrels  – adding layers of complexity and introducing  a delicate hint of cinnamon that beautifully complement the bold, spice-forward character of High West rye. Together, these barrels create a richly textured, harmonious expression that celebrates the artistry of blending.”

Pepe Hermosillo, Founder of Casa Noble Tequila said,

"This collaboration between Casa Noble and High West is a true celebration of craftsmanship and tradition, where the bold, botanical spice of High West rye meets the refined elegance of Casa Noble's Marques Añejo French Oak barrels.  Together, we’ve created something exceptional that bridges the worlds of whiskey and tequila.” said "This partnership allowed us to push boundaries, merging the richness of aged tequila with the spice-forward character of High West rye. The result is a whiskey with layers of flavor that tell a story of innovation and respect for tradition, creating a truly unforgettable tasting experience."

About High West

High West Distillery was founded in 2006 by David Perkins and his wife, Jane. David, a former biochemist, was inspired to open his own distillery after seeing the parallels between the fermentation and distilling process and his own work in biochemistry during a trip to a whiskey distillery in Kentucky. In 2004, David and his family relocated to Park City, Utah to begin their new venture, where they began distilling in 2007. They chose Park City because of David’s love of the Old West and Utah’s little-known whiskey history.

High West began with humble roots, opening a small, 250-gallon still and Saloon in an historic livery stable and garage. What was once a small operation in downtown Park City has grown to be an internationally-recognized, award winning brand.
